Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering

The Electronics and Communication Engineering department forms the nucleus of most engineering and technology application in industries especially in the service sector. This department aims to be a centre of excellence by acting as facilitator for knowledge generation to produce professional for institute- industry interactions. The arrangements for students are made so that they perform experiments on CRO, Function Generator Antenna Trainer, Microprocessor Kits, and Product Designing in PCB electronic workshop.

The students learn the application of electronics in emerging areas. Laboratories cover all aspect of VLSI technology including LSI and CMOS technology, VHDL as a means to express design verification. Signal processing lab is also well equipped.

Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is working in the proper direction, to make multi-dimensional, competent, confident, knowledgeable and skilled engineering professionals.

The dedicated faculty members extract the hidden talents of students through classrooms, Laboratories, seminars, workshops, industrial visits etc, which definitely bring out excellent results and highest merit in the University Examination. The department has nine well designed and well maintained laboratories covering practical knowledge of all the subjects from first year to final year. In the pursuit of knowledge the students are fully supported by computer labs, Internet and mechanical workshop in their project work. Our aim is to revolutionize learning and try to raise the quality of higher education.
