The department of Applied Science and Humanities caters to the needs of the core subjects such as Professional Communication, Environmental Sciences, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The department has an experienced faculty with well-quipped laboratories.

Mathematics is the basis of all engineering branches. Special emphasis is given to solve the live problems which come across in scientific and engineering investigations. Specially designed tutorials for different fields of engineering are given to students to find their solutions. Highly qualified and experienced teachers put their utmost efforts to groom the student’s communication skills with the help of a full fledged and well-furnished Professional Communication Lab. Special measures like Personality Development Programmes (PDP), Seminars, Group-discussions, Public-speaking, Mock-interviews etc. are organised frequently to enhance the communication skills of the students.
