Training and Placement

This department is working under the able guidance of a professor in-charge. The department is constantly working to help the students to achieve their ultimate goal of getting a good and respectable job. The department organizes special lecturers, seminars and workshops that enable the students to acquires qualities of an effective team leader.

These programmes make the students to learn most modern techniques and develop confidence to become successful professionals. The cell organizes various seminars, group discussions, face-to-face interactions with industry experts, Personality Development Workshops, Mock-interviews etc. to bridge the gap between the theoretical aspects of a students learning and the real-life requirements of the industries. This year a number of organizations were invited for delivering seminar lectures and providing campus placements to our students. The results were quite encouraging. Campus interviews were conducted for final and Pre-final year students of CS and EC departments by organizations like Life Business Project, Delhi; ISOFT Training and Solutions, Pvt. Ltd., Delhi, who selected twelve candidates; Parrot Software, Delhi; Drishti Solutions, Pvt. Ltd, Agra who selected three students.
A number of companies conducted off- campus selections. Some of the prominent were:

The placement Cell organizes industrial visits and industrial training for the students. The Final and Pre-final year students went on a to visit Heinz India Pvt. Ltd.; Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd., Aligarh and Trade Fair-07.
All these activities enhance the professional ability of the students and enable them to acquire jobs with the best employers in the professional world. Through these activities, students gain practical knowledge and exposure to Industrial environment.
At ACET, a numbers of programmes are conducted to groom the personality of the students along with the academic inputs. Professionals in various fields are invited to deliver seminars lecturers and group discussions to give students a change to improve their personality and communication skills, team work and confidence. The students are kept upgraded with the changes is the contemporary industrial scenario by means of regular visits to industrial and engineering fairs.
