The Aligarh College of Engineering & Technology (ACET) was established in the year 2001 with the main objective to provide quality education in various disciplines of engineering, technology and science in a region where such facilities are highly inadequate as compared to other developed region of the state. The vision of the Founder is to set up an education centre of excellence for high quality professional education such as Engineering, Business administration, Pharmacy and Medical sciences.

The campus is built on a self owned, lush green, pollution free land of 10 acres. It has a environment which is noise free, far from the crowded atmosphere of the town, but enjoys all the facilities of a well developed city. Such a atmosphere is always conducive for teaching, learning and personality development.

The college is situated on Mathura road, 3.0 km. from Aligarh. Aligarh railway station is an important railway junction on Delhi – Howrah main line. Mathura is also an important railway junction on Mumbai – Amritsar and Chennai – Amritsar main lines. New Delhi is the nearest Airport. Bus service is very frequent from Aligarh to Mathura and Mathura to Aligarh.
