           Shri Dilip Singh is the Secretary of Jawahar Vidyalaya Society (JVS), registered under the Societies Registration Act., 1860. The Society was established in 1948 with the sole aim of creating a modern education system in the region where facilities of education were inadequate compared to socio-economic needs. At present it provides modern education system in various disciplines of engineering and science in the region. Under the aegis of the JVS Shri Singh established two colleges: (i) Aligarh College of Engineering & Technology and (ii) Aligarh College of Pharmacy. The first was established in 2001 and the second one in 2006. He belongs to a very well known family of Iglas (District- Aligarh) which has glorious history of 68 years. His father Shri Rajendra Singh Ji was the minister of Agriculture & Irrigation in U.P. Government and remained Leader of the Opposition in U.P. assembly for several years. 

           Aligarh College of Engineering & Technology is offering six U.G. courses in Engineering and Technology (B.Tech.) and two P.G. courses (M.B.A. and M.C.A.). The College campus is well planned and built on a lush green, pollution free land of 14 acres. The college has all the facilities of a good technical college as per recommendation of the AICTE, New Delhi and U.P. Technical University, Lucknow. The students get a stimulating atmosphere which encourages them to achieve their bright future. Shri Dilip Singh is a very energetic, always helping and constantly encouraging person and maintains very cordial relations with students as well as with the staff.

           Prof. Gupta, Advisor is a well known academician, scholar and administrator. He has worked as Director of a number of prestigious institutions and has served in the panel of various Public Service Commissions of the states of India and U.P.S.C., New Delhi. In addition, he has been the Governor’s Nominee in Roorkee and Rohilkhand University. His rich experience spans over more than 45 years. He has been the source of inspiration for students as well as for faculty. He has published a number of research papers in the National and International Journals of repute.
  

PROF.(DR.) J.P.RAWAT

DIRECTOR GENERAL

           The Director General of the College, Dr. J.P. Rawat is a highly acclaimed educationist and a dynamic administrator. He is the superannuated professor from department of Chemistry, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh and had been the former Director of this College. Prof. Rawat has more than 35 Years of experience in teaching, research and administration. He has guided 26 students for their Ph.D. degree and has published more than 120 research papers in journals of National and International repute. One of his research papers was selected as a part of sampling by Institute of Scientific Information; U.S.A. Prof. Rawat delivered several invited talks in various conferences/symposia/workshops and chaired many sessions. He has been the referee for International and National Journals and is the author of many chapters in the books on environmental science and on Analytical Chemistry published by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi. Prof. Rawat is also the editor of some of these books. He has worked in different administrative capacities during his tenure in Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. His vision is to take Aligarh College of Engineering & Technology to greater heights.
  

           Prof. S.A. Raza is the superannuated Professor from the Department of Civil Engineering, Z.H. College of Engineering & Technology, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He taught B.Tech. and M.Tech. classes for about 34 years. He has also worked as Engineer in Border Roads Organization for two years and was involved in the construction of world’s highest mountain road from Manali to Leh. Prof. Raza had been actively engaged in research since 1972 and has published 34 research papers in Journals/Proceedings of International & National Conferences & Seminars. Prof. Raza has supervised 18 M.Tech. dissertations and successfully completed AICTE sponsored individual research project on “Use of treated & reinforced fly ash in civil engineering construction” during 1998-2000. He has been the consultant for Soil Investigation work for various Private & Govt. Agencies. He has visited several countries in connection with paper presentation & research work. Prof. Raza is the member of many reputed Engineering Societies. He has a long experience of administration in A.M.U., Aligarh as Provost, Pro-proctor, Director, Coaching & Guidance center and coordinator of B.Arch. Course. He was awarded many National and International Honors in the field of Civil Engineering.

           After superannuation Prof. Raza established a company “M/s Raza Geotech Engineers & consultants Pvt. Ltd.” duly approved by Govt. of India for carrying out design & soil investigation work for the foundation of structures and has secured a number of projects sponsored by Jal Nigam, Nirman Nigam, PWD, Irrigation and other agencies. 
  

Dr. Vinod Sharma, one of the founder members of ACET is a popular teacher and an active administrator. He is responsible to maintain discipline and the strict code of conduct, the basic slogan of the college, among the students within the campus and outside to impart discipline based quality education to mould them into sincere, dedicated and responsible citizens. Dr. Sharma is very popular among the students and is accessible to them any time. He makes all out efforts to solve problems of the students as well as of the faculty members. He is polite, decent and courteous and one can always find him helping others. But he is very strict in the matter of discipline.
