Activities 


Sports Activities: 

           Sports play an important role in the personality development of a student. Special facilities are provided to the students for outdoor games such as football, volleyball, cricket, badminton, basketball etc. This is in addition to the facilities of indoor games which are provided to the students. At both the outdoor sports and the indoor sports level various competitions are organized from time to time. Many students participate in UPTU sports events (i) “Tuaran 08” held at KNIT Sultanpur and “Aamood 2008 held at SR MSLET, Bereily and won prizes.

 

Extra Curricular Activities:

           The college encourages technical festivals, cultural events, literary activities and debates etc. to provide a platform to the students for display of their talents. One of the major events was mega cultural event “Anugooj 2005” which is hoped to be an yearly celebration.

           “Anugooj 2005” was organized on May 11, 2005. The event started with lighting of lamp before the statute of Goddess Saraswati by Late Ch. Rajendra Singh Ji (Ex-minister, Agriculture and Irrigation, U.P. Government and Leader of Opposition). College Director presented the Annual Report of the College. 

           The highlight of the programme was cultural bonanzas, presented by the students. Various activities: Dramatics, Debates, Antakshari, Fashion Show, Dances, Songs, etc. were organized by the students on this occasion.

           For organizing various cultural events in the college “Council of Student Activities (C.S.A.)” exists which is headed by a senior faculty member of the college. The C.S.A. also includes representatives of the students.
